HOME SPONSORS RULES & INFO          Bradley's Story

Mudblast for CP is a memorial to Bradley Walde. Who is Brad Walde? Brad Walde was born 05/21/89 to proud parents Tony and Suzy Walde. Brad was born 3 months premature and had problems breathing on his own. One evening while in the hospital, they had problems with the ventilator, and Bradley suffered some brain damage due to lack of oxygen. Bradley lived the next 22 years as a quadriplegic, and endured numerous surgeries, and had problems with frequent seizures. Throughout it all Bradley was the happiest young man you would ever meet. His shining personality would always be capped off by his ability to smile. And his ability to make you smile! Bradley passed away in 2012 due to complications from blood clots. Bradley accomplished many things in his life and touched countless people! Mudblast for CP will be a celebration of Bradley's life. Having a special needs child is very difficult for families as they quietly endure many challenges that most people are unaware of. Bradley's father, Tony Walde, is an active board member for United Cerebral Palsy of Nebraska. UCP of Nebraska provides much needed support to individuals and families faced with these types of challenges. The proceeds from Mudblast for CP will go to United Cerebral Palsy of Nebraska. Thank you for your support. Have fun! And as a tribute to Brad Walde on the day of our event? Get dirty and SMILE!!!
